Ecovillage Design Course, Crystal Waters, Australia.Module 1. 11-16 Nov 2001, Crystal Waters, Australia.
Module 1 of the Ecovillage Design Course provides theory, tools and techniques for designing ecovillages. The location of the course in the world renowned ecovillage Crystal Waters provides an immersion experience for participants, who can see, feel and use much of the latest appropriate soft and hard technology in use in ecological settlements. Crystal Waters won a Habitat Award in 1995 for its pioneering work in demonstrating new ways of low impact, sustainable living. It is the first village in the world that was designed from inception according to the principles of permaculture, and it is perhaps the largest and most established ecovillage in the world. The course has been enthusiastically praised by town planners and developers around the world. The course will be led by Max O Lindegger, who co-designed and developed Crystal Waters, in association with Morag Gamble and Evan Raymond of Sustainable Futures. Contact GENOA Inc.
