The GEN Oceania & Asia (GENOA) secretariat covers the region from Australia through the Pacific to Hawaii, and through Asia as far as (and including) South Africa. The GEN South Asia node covers Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal and Bhutan. The rest of the globe is covered by GENs other two secretariats: GEN-Americas and GEN-Europe. GEN Oceania & Asia's (GENOA) main activity is the facilitation of networks among those with an interest in the ecovillage & intentional communities movement. Our objective is to promote the ecovillage concept as a practical environmentally and socially responsible alternative to land settlement and resource use. One of our many methods of dissemination of information is through the running of educational courses at Crystal Waters Permaculture Village.
