Karlis

I am born in Latvia - small country in east Europe with beautiful nature. Now I am an environmental engineering student in Switzerland. Since I was a child, I have always loved books and already in my teenage years, parallel to my love to nature and sports, I read a lot of philosophical, mystical and esoteric literature. Later on, while studying environmental engineering I came to an idea of merging science with spirituality and philosophy. Since 2011, I have decided to buy land in Latvia, which were owned by my ancestors in three generations, in a beautiful place between forests, meadows and pounds, and make an international eco village. The chosen land is 28.5 ha and considering the prices in Latvia, it might be between 60 - 90 000 Euros. The following winter 2016 I am about to write this eco village project as my bachelor work. Therefore, I am looking forward to participate in EDE course in coming fall or next spring.
